Toronto’s Four Seasons Hotel closes its doors — for now
|
A grand staple in Yorkville, the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto’s ritzy Yorkville neighbourhood has closed its doors. The closure, though, is temporary — the luxury Avenue Road hotel is getting a new address down the street. It’s also getting a new name.
By the end of summer, the hotel is expected to be open for business and will be known as the New Residences of Yorkville Plaza. The 31-storey building will be home to expensive condos and shopping which, given the feel of the area, is certain to hold appeal for high-end label lovers.
