Intrepid celebrates International Women’s Day with trip discounts

Many of the world’s greatest explorers have been men. We don’t often hear about female trailblazers who’ve undertaken fearless adventures in times when it was unheard of for women to travel alone.

Ever heard of Gertrude Bell? She traveled across Arabia six times in 1899, mapping the region. And Mary Henrietta Kingsley made two pioneering trips to West and Central Africa (the first in 1893) to study religious fetishes and collect scientific specimens.

So, in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, Intrepid Travel is offering up a trip discount for female adventurers. Take the Adventure Girl Quiz to find out what type of adventure girl you are and receive 15 per cent off trips that match your travel personality.
