Being a mother of four, I’m constantly on the lookout for the best things to do and places to go with my kids. My three youngest children are eight and three respectively (the youngest two are identical twin boys), so you can imagine, I need to have my game face on in order to keep them entertained.
The whole family recently returned from a trip to Orlando — the land of theme parks. Here are some tips on where to go for a day of fun and adventure with the family:

What you’ve heard is true — and then some. Disney World is a fantasy-come-true for kids and parents alike. Put on your walking shoes and leave early if you want to experience all that this Orlando landmark has to offer.
Disney World has a number of theme parks to experience: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot Center, Disney Hollywood Studios and more. There are so many things to do I recommend you allocate one theme park per day, as you can easily spend hours in each one. Choose to stay on site for easy access (there are a number of hotels in the park) or close by for quick access.

There’s something about marine life that appeals to children — perhaps it’s the mysteries of the deep, the colours of the fish or the majesty of whales and dolphins. From specialized shows to aquariums, rides and more, SeaWorld is a great family-friendly theme park that can easily engage you and the kids for hours on end. It has a huge water park, as well as educational tours that allow the kids to learn while they’re having fun.

Want to be immersed in your favourite Universal Studios movie or TV show? From The Simpsons to Men in Black, Universal Studios is the place for you and the kids to live out all of your adventure fantasies.
A full day of activities — from rides and attractions to movies, shows and more — awaits the family and will not disappoint. The latest addition to the theme park is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter on Universal’s Island of Adventure.
