Glad to have found your travel blog! Enjoyed your ice fishing article and Adventures in the Australian Outback. Thanks for offering the Nokia Lumia contest–good one!
When traveling, make a point of finding the highest vantage point in the city. Nothing punctuates a good travel experience more than getting an overview of the area you have been. or plan to go.

Sometimes to make a day amazing, you just need to focus on the little details. Make scrambled eggs and plate it like you are at a restaurant. Smile at a total stranger and help open the door for them. Make a positive comment on someone’s great sense of style. Give someone a hug. Enjoy that special ‘me’ or ‘us’ moment with that favourite tea or coffee you soo like. Any day can be amazing, if we let it.

Decide that it’s going to be a good day no matter how crappy you feel and I assure you it will be better than if you crawl back in bed because you’re depressed ill or whatever.

Days are always amazing when they start with walking my two dogs and a hot yoga class, followed by keeping my chin up and facing the rest of the day with a smile.

I make everyday amazing by reminding myself of this saying every morning:
“Place a hand over your heart. Feel that? That’s called purpose. I’m alive for a reason.”
And then I make my day worthwhile and amazing.
keep your travel photos handy to look at when weather is rough or someone gives you a tough time, there’s always vacation memories and vacation planning to make your day an amazing one!

Make time for the unexpected whether it’s a coffee with a friend, a street performer on a corner or stopping to admire a piece of art. Sometimes we are so worried about our “agenda” for the day be it either in our everyday life or traveling we can miss the little things that make life spectacular.

I tried e-mailing, but I got a Failed Delivery Message, so I’ll post here instead!
Hailey’s Tips for Making Every Day Amazing:
1) Wake up naturally. No alarm clock. Lay in bed and stretch.
2) Start off the day with a nice hot shower and a healthy breakfast – coffee, toast, eggs, and some fruit. Eat slowly and read the good parts of the newspaper.
3) Go check out some places you’ve never been to. The little independently owned coffee shop downtown, the house that was remodelled into a second-hand bookstore – strike up cheerful conversations with other patrons or the people that work there. Leave them smiling.
4) Take a book you’ve never read to the park and cozy up underneath a tree.
5) Go home and take a bubble bath. A luxurious bubble bath. With a glass of wine. Get some candles. Turn off the world and let yourself relax.
6) Change into your favourite pair of pajamas and cuddle up with your significant other (or pet) to watch a movie.

The best way to make every day amazing is to make time to just sit down and pet the cat. I know that it sounds simple, but if you really devote yourself to doing (and thinking about!) absolutely nothing but JUST PETTING THE CAT for a few minutes, the amount of stress relief as a reward is way higher proportionately to the time spent doing it!
